hallo,
ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen...
habe mysql5 und tomcat 5.5 auf debian etch installiert.
wenn ich versuche von einem servlet aus auf mysql zuzugreifen bekomme ich folgende fehlermeldung:
java.sql.SQLException: Cannot connect to MySQL server on localhost:3306. Is there a MySQL server running on the machine/port you are trying to connect to? (java.net.ConnectException)
mysql funktioniert. postfix, dovecot usw konnen sich konnecten. auch per telnet bekomme ich antwort (telnet localhost 3306).
woran kann das liegen das ich von tomcat her keine verbindung bekomme ?
(security policy ist off).
